Dominica

What do you know about the Caribbean island that is Dominica?

Most probably, not much, considering how it isn’t exactly the most prominent countries in the region. Surely, people are more familiar with the Bahamas, Haiti, the Virgin Islands, and even countries such as Columbia and Cuba—which many people do not know are part of the Caribbean region. This is quite a shame, really, since Dominica is one of the most charming islands in the Caribbean. And why wouldn’t it be? After all, it is called the “Nature Isle” of the Caribbean region, and surely is called that for a very good reason. The reason, obviously, is because it seemed as if the beauty of Dominica is touched. Everything seems as if it has been unspoiled by the hands of investors trying to exploit its beauty. Still, while remaining virginal and ephemeral, Dominica does not remain Spartan. It has a number of developments and infrastructure, and the lifestyle of people here are comfortable but not empty and unkempt.

Its main attractions are testaments to this. For instance, one of the more stunning attractions of the island is Scott’s Head, which is located near a bay. This location has become a prime spot for snorkeling and scuba diving because of its beauty. One major advantage of this location is the fact that visitors are very few in this side of the Caribbean. Clearly, this means that the location remains to be virtually virginal and untouched, just the way many nature enthusiasts love it.

The Morne Trois Pitons National Park is one of the major destinations in the country, mainly because it shows why this island is considered as a beauty. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so its significance to the world is pretty much proven. Other destinations include the Boiling Lake and the Champagne snorkeling spot.

Just the same, the tourism industry of the country is quite improving, perhaps because of the exposure it has gotten from the Pirates of the Caribbean  movies.

So do these destinations mean that a Caribbean property in Dominica is worth the investment? The answer is simply: it is. However, it wouldn’t be easy, especially when you are familiar with the process involved in buying a Caribbean property in other countries in the region. Also, unlike other Caribbean nations, the real estate market is considered as quite. It is a beauty, this country of Dominica, but the landscape doesn’t really translate to a convenient Caribbean property investment. This is mainly because the Caribbean is mountainous as well as volcanic. It is blessed with a rich rainforest, even a number of possible active volcanoes. Although its bodies of water are just stunning, Dominica does not plenty of them, unlike other Caribbean nations that seemingly have countless beaches. Because of this, there aren’t that many resorts and hotels here, although there are a sufficient number of these establishments for the tourists.

The island remains low-key, but the price range of properties here is somewhat just as expensive as other Caribbean nations.
